What information do we store and use?
We gather anonymous collective data, i.e. web traffic data on the number of visitors to our website, as well as the specific pages you view or content you choose to access (including file name, date and time of access, data volume and whether or not the content was successfully accessed). Using these anonymous, aggregated data, the DIZG can learn more about how the website is used, and how frequently particular content is viewed. We use this information to optimize existing services and to be able to provide users with new and interesting features.
In addition, we automatically collect and store information that is transmitted from your Internet browser, particularly your IP address.
An analysis of personal information is not conducted. Personal information will be stored, if prospective clients use the DIZGʼs online service offers (such as inquiries via e-mail, etc.). We store your information for the purpose of correspondence or to complete your order.
What is defined as personal information?
We understand personal information data as any information regarding your identity, such as your name, e-mail address, and/or mailing address.
Data transfer to third parties
All information you submit will of course be treated confidentially. We do not provide personal data or information to any third parties, unless you have explicitly given your consent thereof, or we become legally obliged to disclose such data, for example by court order.
What do we do with your information?
By agreeing to our declaration of consent form, you authorize us to collect, store, and process any personal information for purposes of individual service and support. We internally conduct analyses concerning demographics, user interests and user behavior. Individual support includes personalized services as well as the possibility of interactive communication (i.e. sending e-mails with product offerings). This enables us to provide our websiteʼs users with customized content and personalized services, thereby enhancing the personal value of our online content for you.
Your right of revocation at any time
You always reserve the right to revoke a previously submitted consent form concerning the use of your personal data. To do this, please send an E-mail to the address listed in the E-mail you received.
We are committed to maintaining the security of your data in accordance with German data protection law, yet it should also be noted that no form of electronic communication is completely secure. We would like to point out that, despite our high security standards, the information you voluntarily release over the Internet could be used by others. Therefore, the DIZG cannot assume any responsibility or liability for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission and/or unauthorized access by third party members.
